Hello!

My name is Ike (on the right of the photo, and on the left is my wife Melody) & I am a digital marketer working as a senior paid media analyst for a data driven digital marketing agency in NYC, currently managing & optimizing ad accounts (Google/Bing Ads) for a multinational pharmaceudical institution.

My professional career started out as a waiter & then a general manager for a steak house right after college, then pursued a career as a real estate salesperson, and now I am a digital marketer.

I made a career change twice but let me tell you that I genuinely love what I am doing right now & I never looked back!

While managing a restaurant for 4 years & being a salesperson for 4 years was great, I felt that I was not mentally stimulated & motivated to continue these career paths. I saw the limit to how much I can grow in these industries, everyday felt the same, I felt burnt out working like a heartless zombie, and in the end I really felt the need to leave. It was so bad that I wasn’t smiling most of the time I was working, leaving many customers & clients unhappy. They even knew for sure that I wasn’t happy with my life.

I did not wish to work, and couldn’t imagine to work in these industries for the rest of my life. It just wasn’t for me. 

Therefore, I felt the need to make a career change & took a leap of faith & decided to make the change in the winter of 2020 at the age of 32 (fortunately right before the pandemic hit). 

I was browsing YouTube (I believe I typed in the search query “career change”) and found a channel called Engineered Truth. In there, the host Matt was introducing Seth Hymes who opened an online course called Seth’s Digital Marketing Career Blueprint.

The course introduces digital marketing as a career, the opportunities in the industry, & lays out an easy-to-follow blueprint in order to get your foot in the door whether you are looking to land a job in the media industry (this was my goal), or to succeed in freelancing or starting your own digital marketing agency.

Fast forward to now, I am so glad I made the change as I am so much happier than I was ever before. For the first time in my life I feel like my job is very important & mentally stimulating, I have a clear career path that is keeping me excited & motivated, and I feel proud of myself knowing that I will be financially stable while being able to spend time with my loved ones. 

I decided to create this website as a way to inspire those & help those who are currently struggling with life (mentally/physically/financially) like I was before, not knowing what to do with their career, to consider going for this career path of digital marketing & media as it is intellectually nourishing, lucrative, and overall very fulfilling!

I am hoping that the resources I provide in this website would be valuable to you & I am always open to connecting with anyone who needs help.
